Welcome to the Cahir to Clonmel Greenway public consultation website.
This website (“Site”) supports the public consultation for the proposed Cahir to Clonmel Greenway. It is managed on behalf of Tipperary County Council in association with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, with technical support from OCSC Multidisciplinary Consulting Engineers. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the website
This Site is intended to:
- Provide information about the proposed Cahir to Clonmel Greenway and the current public consultation phase.
- Help members of the public understand project objectives, route options, and related updates.
- Collect feedback through an interactive study-area map and an online consultation questionnaire.
2. Content and accuracy
Information accuracy
Every reasonable effort is made to ensure information on this Site is accurate and up to date. However, Tipperary County Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, and OCSC do not guarantee that content is complete, current, or free from error. Any reliance on information published here is at your own risk.
Third-party links

3. User contributions
Interactive map feedback
You may submit comments linked to a location within the published study area using the interactive map. Map feedback is stored securely for review by authorised project personnel and is not displayed publicly on the Site.
Consultation questionnaire
You may also submit responses through the online consultation questionnaire on the public consultation page. All submissions are handled in line with the privacy and data protection provisions in Section 4.
Prohibited content
When submitting map feedback or questionnaire responses, you agree not to include:
- Offensive, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise harmful material.
- Personal data relating to other individuals without their consent.
- False, misleading, or deliberately disruptive information.
Project administrators may disregard or remove material that breaches these terms or applicable law.
4. Privacy and data protection
Data collection
Information submitted through the map and questionnaire is collected solely to understand public views on the proposed greenway and to inform the consultation process.
Data storage and access
Submissions are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised personnel involved in managing the consultation.
Data use and sharing
Personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law. Aggregated or anonymised information may be used in consultation reporting and analysis.

5. Intellectual property
Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, materials on this Site—including text, images, graphics, and project documentation—are owned by or licensed to Tipperary County Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, or OCSC. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
Licence for submissions
By submitting map feedback or questionnaire responses, you grant the project team a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and analyse your submission for consultation purposes, reporting, and project development.
6. Website usage
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not disrupt, damage, or impair its operation or security.
Availability
The Site is designed to be straightforward and reliable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend or update the Site for maintenance, security, or project-related reasons.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tipperary County Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, and OCSC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this Site. This includes loss arising from technical faults, unauthorised access, or reliance on Site content.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the consultation, the project, or legal requirements. Continued use of the Site after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute relating to use of this Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
